Meet Simona – Where Art Meets Nature
Growing up in my grandparents’ garden, I discovered the magic of flowers long before I knew they would become my life’s calling. Those cherished childhood days were spent among hyacinths, snowdrops, and lily of the valley in spring, watching roses and lavender dance in summer breezes, and marvelling at the bold beauty of sunflowers and zinnias as autumn approached. For me those memorable days spent in my grandparents’ village amongst meadow fields and flowers shaped not just my love for flowers, but my entire approach to life and beauty. Little did I know these early memories would plant the seeds for my future.
After spending 15 years refining my leadership skills in management roles, life took an unexpected turn in 2020 but one for which I was driving for to be honest. What started as a passion project in 2013 bloomed into something more profound – a calling that couldn’t be ignored. Sometimes the most beautiful things grow from life’s pauses, and my return to floristry was exactly that: a return to what felt truly authentic.
My Journey
Life has a beautiful way of bringing us full circle. After 15 years leading teams in corporate environments, I found myself drawn back to my first love – flowers. What started as a passion project in 2013 bloomed into something more profound when, in 2020, I decided to fully embrace my calling and establish Anomis Flowers.
The combination of my management experience and deep-rooted passion for floristry allows me to bring both precision and poetry to every project. As your florist, I, Simona, promise to bring not just expertise, but heart to every stem I work with.
